Villagers sometimes wear the traditional dress of their own village. Ban Thaton is visited by a number of villages and hilltribes during the festival weekend, so the many cultures can be seen enjoying the weekend together.
The "long neck" below has covered her gold necklaces with a scarf so she does not attract attention of the crowds. If you look closely you can see some necklaces peeking out from beneath her scarf.
The festival atmosphere is good for everyone, and people come from the hilltribe villages, surrounding towns, and other countries to participate.
