What to Do

Outdoor Fun

Our guests can enjoy a number of activities on-site. Qualified instructors are on hand to lead these activities.

Archery

Archery

The centre has a 15 metre "short range" which is perfect for groups of all ages and abilities. Set inside a Thai style sala, sessions may also be conducted in the evening as well as on the rare wet days. Instructors hold the "Grand National Archery Society" Leader award and deliver structured sessions for 1 - 3 hours. The lessons involve the basics of how to shoot an arrow, aiming off, arrow collection, scoring as well as many fun games to improve your accuracy.

Canoeing

A typical canoe session would take roughly 2 hours. Starting at the resort, we leisurely canoe down the Maekok river taking in the sights of the surrounding mountains finishing the journey at the foot of "Sob Fang Hill". From here we walk the 642 steps through the peaceful bamboo forest up the ancient staircase to Wat Sob Fang, an 800 year old Buddhist temple, set on the top of the hill from where you can take in the views of the orange groves below.

Longer canoe journeys of two to three days can also be arranged, depending on the needs and abilities of the group.

Climbing wall

Our 14 metre climbing wall caters for beginner's right up to experienced climbers.

It has features including a slab, vertical and overhanging routes and offers the ability to bridge for those much needed rests. The different routes are colour coded, and offer grades from easy to hard. Our instructors hold the British S.P.A climbing qualification, and all our equipment is CE rated.

Confidence Course

Confidence Course

Set over a muddy pool of rain water is the confidence course, which is a series of obstacles designed to challenge each participants balance and skill.

Can you cross the beam and turn 360º without losing your balance?

Perhaps the vine traverse will throw you off or maybe the monkey bars will slip through your fingers! One thing is certain; only the committed stay dry!

This makes for an enjoyable and entertaining evening activity.

High Ropes

The indoor high ropes course has 11 different sections, with a variety of different challenges to test the skills and dexterity of the participants. Set in our adventure club and overseen by our instructors, this activity is great for evenings or to fill a few hours on one of those rare wet days.

Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking

Close to the centre we can offer biking along the dirt trails and roads that labyrinth the agricultural land which is all flat, so is suitable for all ages and abilities. A longer 3 hour excursion will take you through the chilli fields and around the foot of "Wat Sob Fang" hill which provides the opportunity for introducing some non serious downhill action, before heading back along the road parallel to the river.

Self-guided walks

There are a variety of walks which start from the resort. These can be self-guided or a guide can take you along. These walks take place along the hillside and through the forest areas directly adjacent to the resort and offer the opportunity to get off the beaten track and enjoy wonderful views of the valley and mountains along the way. We can also arrange a vehicle to drop you at various places of interest some distance from the resort and you can make your own way back.
