South Island School, Hong Kong

Students worked hard making a bamboo fence for a new chicken run for our organic farm project. This will allow us to house 100 free range chickens.

The school also provided funds for the construction of the ‘bamboo village’ for our students, and they also gave a very generous donation to the orphanage school in the local town which allowed them to install a system for getting rid of waste and stagnant water.

South Island School students spent an afternoon at Rajapracha Orphanage School during their November visit 2004, playing sports and teaching English at the end of the visit the students presented a donation to the School’s Director.
