For the third year running, senior students from West Island School, committed themselves to three hard days work on various projects.
|
|
|

|
|
The main time was spent clearing an area of heavily overgrown vegetation and constructing a perimeter fence so that accommodation could be built for our new cohort of initiative students.
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
They also spent time in the local primary school giving fun English lessons to some very obviously enraptured students.
|
|
|
|
On their November trip in 2004 West Island students undertook several projects at Hang Tum School for which they had raised funds. These included the rebuilding of much needed toilets blocks, renovation of the canteen inside and painting murals and landscaping on the outside.
